About Tiffany’s
Since 1987 we’ve served dinners, staged performances, thrown disco nights and played live music beneath our 57-foot stained-glass dome.

The Tiffany Dome

Our 57-foot stained-glass dome began life in a Paris tango hall. It was dismantled, shipped to Big Bear Lake and reassembled above what is now the bistro. It is the largest of its kind west of Chicago, and we like to say the small marks in the glass came from champagne corks.
Our owners restored the dome, and Atlas Obscura features it in its guide.
Over the years this room has hosted Madame Butterfly, Othello and more than a few disco nights. These days we fill it with live music every Friday and Saturday.

The Nobles
Our menu tells the story of the animal portraits that hang throughout the hotel. We tell it as folklore, not history.
In our story, Big Bear’s animals take human form and dress as aristocrats while the gold-mining town grows up around them. They form a noble society and swear to protect the mountain and its wildlife.
The tale weaves in Paul Rizos, who opened the hotel in 1987, along with the European art he collected and the Tiffany dome.
Their portraits hang throughout the hotel. Ask us to point out our favorites.
